The LulzBot TAZ 5 can print in standard thermoplastics like HIPS, ABS, and PLA. They all adhere beautifully to the heated PEI print surface, and release easily once cooled. HIPS is a very easy-to-print and versatile plastic perfect for beginners. ABS is great for functional prototypes and production parts. PLA is excellent for larger prints, and fit-up prototyping.
